We need your help developing the Plan. 

We want your local and specialised knowledge and experience of living and working on the Eyre Peninsula and to hear about your personal experiences of drought and ideas for building drought resilience for the future.

August update: public consultation on the Draft Eyre Peninsula Regional Drought Resilience Plan

The Draft Eyre Peninsula Regional Drought Resilience Plan has now been released for public consultation. Please access the draft Plan here.

Public consultation on the draft Plan will be open from 8 – 22 August 2024. We welcome all feedback during this time.

Please provide your feedback via this survey.

We will also be holding 4 online forums to present the draft Plan and explain how you can provide feedback. Each forum will share the same information.

The online forums will be held at the following times:

  • Monday 12 August 2pm–3pm

  • Monday 12 August 7pm–8pm

  • Wednesday 14 August 6pm–7pm

  • Friday 16 August 10am–11am

If you are attending the Eyre Peninsula Field Days at Cleve (13–15 August), the draft Plan will also be available to view and provide feedback at the RDA’s stand.

July update: first round of engagement now closed

The first round of engagement for the Eyre Peninsula Regional Drought Resilience Plan has now closed. Thank you to all of those who participated in one of the 11 regional workshops, submitted an online survey or completed a key informant interview throughout late June and early July.

We appreciate your insights into how drought impacts the Eyre Peninsula and what can be done to enhance drought resilience in the region.
